Placement Department IAA:
The Training and Placement, career guidance cell of IAA college provides guidance and all the assistance for the students in order to achieve their career goals. Placements is provided to all the eligible students registered for placements activities. Over the years Indo Asian Academy has always aimed at 100% placement to all the registered students. The students not registering for placement are either from foreign nationals or students wanting to peruse their higher studies. The recruitment is done in college campus, Pooled campus or Off campus. Transportation is provided to the students if there is a Pooled campus in other colleges or Off campus interview in the company premises.
> The Placement Cell also provides Placement assistance for all passed out students regardless of their passing years.
The main objective of Placement Cell is to provide students with a platform for using their potential to gain valuable experience by working in industry ,it also acts as the interface between various companies seeking talented young graduates and post graduates in various disciplines and to provide employment opportunities and market ready training to Students.
Employability Enhancement Programme (EEP)
In today’s rapidly changing and competitive economy, employability is very much important. Companies need trained and qualified students who are job ready. it takes time for the academic curriculum to incorporate the latest developments in economy, technology and industry requirements. While more of job opportunities are available, recruiters find that the students are not up to the mark or do not have latest or requisite skills. Due to this companies are forced to incur huge induction and training expenses or recruit experienced candidates, leading to loss of opportunities for freshers.
In this EEP training students are put through different aspects of training aimed towards offering at individual holistic development. Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Mental Ability Skills as well as enhancement of Practical Application Skills form the base. Soft Skills [Verbal & Non – Verbal] skills, Time Management, Team Work and Goal Setting, Art of Persuasion, Negotiation Skill, and Crisis-Conflict Management Talents, the training modules are very effective in transforming the students to industry worthy and industry ready citizens.
The EEP training helps the students to improve their personality, communication skills, grooming and helps in improving their confidence in themselves. The students are also given intensive training in Moc interviews and Group Discussions which helps them to boost their confidence.
Placement Process at IAA
Employability Enhancement Programme (EEP)
> The Placement Team sends invitation to the Recruiters with relevant details regards to college details and the batch matrix available for Final Placements.
> Recruiters convey their intention to participate in the campus recruitment for the profile they wish to hire for and the date for the recruitment drive.
> The companies conduct Pre-Placements Talks to give in-depth information about them including the roles and profiles being offered.
> Applications are invited and resumes of interested applicants are shared with the companies.
> Companies conduct their selection process which typically comprises of Aptitude Test ,CV based short listing, group discussions, and interviews
> Final results are announced by the companies
